IPD celebrated its Pearl Anniversary simultaneous with its Annual General Membership Meeting last April 11, 2012 at the AIM Conference Center in Makati city.  Part of the celebration was an honoring for IPD’s shepherds and sponsors over the years.  A presentation was also made regarding the Pastoral Partnership Program which is IPD’s strategic thrust and its vehicle towards enabling the church’s vision of a communion of communities.  This is our contribution “Towards 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines.” Happy Anniversary!

Did you ever imagine the IPD office at Angelus Plaza building in Makati be converted into a war room?  That was precisely the description of some of the trainors who attended the Trainors Conference of IPD on November 16, 2011 entitled: “One God, One Word, One Mission”.  There, the trainors spent time to worship our One True God, listen to a mission update of the Pastoral Partnership Program given by President and Executive Director Randy Feria, learn a new technology (Dropbox) which would be utilized for File sharing (and boy was everyone amazed by its capability), and equip themselves with the skill of preparing training plans through a workshop conducted by Mission Director Celsa Uy.

All left the conference with new or renewed knowledge, but more importantly, with a stronger fire in their hearts to go on mission.  Excitement to go out and apply what they learned filled the room.  Timely, as this happened just 3 days before celebrating Christ the King through a Catchfire Conference (incidentally themed “One King, One People, One Mission”) together with 8,000 others who will ignite each others’ fires to be witnesses, disciples, and loyal servants of our One True God and King.
