IPD through its representatives Randy Feria (President and Executive Director) and Celsa Uy (Mission Director) participated in the 6th Catholic Biblical Federation – South East Asia (CBF-SEA) Workshop entitled “Verbum Domini (The Word of the Lord) in the World Today” which was held at Bandung, Indonesia last August 6-10, 2012. The workshop was attended by bishops, priests, nuns, and lay leaders from Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia and focused on Pope Benedict’s latest papal exhortation “Verbum Domini”. For IPD, this gave birth to (a) a new course, (b) new collaborations, and (c) new missions. It has created a window of opportunity toward fulfilling its contribution “Towards 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines”. Onward with the mission!
